Ann Sparta Trust and Estate Paralegal
Ann works as a Trust & Estate Paralegal. She assists our Trust & Estate Coordinator in preparing probate and trust documents for the court and collecting information from our clients. Ann corresponds with clients, assisting them in collecting the proper data needed from their banking institutions and brokers to produce the accurate documents to complete an estate. Her job entails keeping accurate records for clients to assist them in completing a loved one’s estate or maintaining their trust assets. In addition to helping clients, Ann assists our Trust & Estate Coordinator in maintaining files and organizing the department to maximize efficiency for our clients.
Ann previously worked for the law firm of Hertzmark Crean & Lahey, LLP for 20+ years as a general law paralegal with an emphasis on litigation. Attention to detail is her strong suit.
Ann’s true passion lies in working with children. She worked for seven years with special needs children for the City of Waterbury school system. She has volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, CCD teacher, PTO secretary, and as a baseball coach and Double Dutch coach for the Waterbury Police Activity League.
Ann enjoys hiking and golfing with her husband of 28 years. She is the proud mother of two Eagle Scouts, Zachary and Kyle. She also loves her fur-baby beagle, Daisy Mae. Ann comes from a family of eight children and enjoys large family gatherings every chance she gets.
Ann is a proud graduate of Porter & Chester Institute, Office Administration.
