Linda P. Grenfell
VA Pension Paralegal
Linda is responsible for preparing, submitting and following up on VA Pension with Aid and Attendance applications until they are granted. Linda works with clients and their families to obtain the necessary documentation and acts as liaison with the VA, handling all communication for the family. She also works with nursing homes and other care facilities to coordinate necessary paperwork and documents required by the VA.
Linda is a retired teacher of 29 years, having taught music, math and computer science. She is married to her husband Gary, a retired teacher who has his own piano tuning and repair business and serves as substitute organist at several area churches. They have two children: a son Matthew who teaches AP Calculus and other AP and college prep math classes at Torrington High school; and a daughter, Jessie, who is CEO of her own software development firm, Platy IT. Linda also has three grandchildren. She is volunteer Webmaster for the Town of Bethlehem, CT. She enjoys music and genealogy, and served as Music Director, organist, and cantor at The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem for 27 years.
Linda has a M.S.in Communication Arts from Western Connecticut State University, and a B.S.in Music Education from University of Bridgeport.
